We have an expanded emphasis of another mission trip to the Amazon River Basin in 2010. 

During the Summer of 2009 LABC helped send out a group to Nicaragua.  The team returned and reported about all that they saw God do on the trip.  As with any Mission Trip, the team left to minister to the people of Nicaragua, but the team returned changed. On Sunday, December 27th we will have a guest speaker from Nicaragua giving an update on the work going on there.  We invite you to come and hear about God's work as well during the morning service @ 10:30.  There will be a love offering taken to give to the guest speakers.

Our missions committee has a three part focus with emphasis on each part of the Great Commission.  This means that there is focus on local missions, North American missions, and International missions.  The committee is active and is coordinating and communicating these upcoming trips.  Stay in touch, pray hard, and be ready to do your part!  God is at work and our mission trips of 2008 and 2009 were a wonderful success.
